The Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG) has spoken out loudly about Ghana’s commitment to the cause of national liberation and independence in Africa and throughout the world.
It has strongly urged the Government of Ghana not to turn its back on forces still struggling for national independence on the African continent.
We fully agree with the SFG and encourage the Mahama administration to put its full weight behind the Saharawi people who are struggling against Moroccan colonial occupation
That morocco wants to be re-admitted into the fold of the African Union is not a problem for us to the extent that it left the organisation on its own.
Our concern is that the re-admission of Morocco should not lead to the weakening of support for the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic.
